I have been working with all types of animals professionally for over 12 years. I recently worked for an amazing dog walking company that inspired me to make my dreams come true and take on my own business.
From April- October 2017, I fulfilled a life-long dream and completed a thru-hike of the entire Appalachian Trail. During my 6 months of walking I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted out of this precious life. I knew two things without a doubt- I HAD to work with animals, and I wanted to work for myself. Nearly as soon as I came back to Minnesota, I was getting calls from friends asking if I could help out with pet sitting, training, and dog walking- and Two Paws Up was created.
My goal is to provide you with personalized pet services- I know that not every pet is the same and therefore needs its own specialized care! I want your pet to feel comfortable and have fun while you are away, and I will work with you to develop a customized plan to ensure all of your pets needs are met.
I continously pursue pet education to increase my knowledge of pet training, disease, nutrition, and well- all things pets!
I currently have two fur-babies; Tucker, a lab mix and Cooper, a orange kitty.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
Jolene (Petsitter Turned Office Assistant)
By day I am a project manager by night and weekends I am a pet sitter! I have had a lifelong passion for animals and love caring for people’s fur babies. I volunteered for the Animal Humane Society for 10 years and fostered many cats, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters. I currently volunteer when I can for Safe Hands Rescue in Minneapolis. I have a 5 year old Aussie named Rosie and Milo my kitty is 3. I have been pet sitting for over 3 years and love making animals comfortable in their own homes. I also want their moms and dads to feel happy that they are getting the best care in the world. I have a Biology degree from St Cloud State University. I currently live in Maple Grove.
Logan (Dog Walker and Pet Sitter)
My name is Logan, I have a 4 year old Rottweiler. I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals throughout my whole life, there is nothing that makes me smile more than seeing a dog or cat happy. I’ve always had my hand in some sort of animal care such as training, boarding, running a playgroup, dog walking and pet sitting. I always treat animals with the respect they deserve, they always look at us like we are heroes so I always try to show them that we are.
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of pet-sitting for the cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and goats of my family and friends. I’ve volunteered at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center taking care of injured baby squirrels and birds, and I dream of living on a hobby farm one day. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, as well as spending time outdoors, reading and writing.
My goal is to lavish as much love and care onto your pets while you’re away and put your mind at ease, knowing you’ll be coming home to a happy, healthy fur baby.
Kylie (Dog Walker and Petsitter)
My first pet was a Chinchilla named Scooby-Doo, whom I got when I was three years old. Since then, I’ve had a variety of pets from dogs to cats, turtles, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, rats, ducks, chickens and so on. I have always had an affinity for any kind of animal and get along well with them all. This has made me a go to for pet sitting and dog walking for many of my friends and family. When I’m not playing or cuddling with my dog or my guinea pigs, I like to read, write, paint, and spend time with friends and family.
I’m super excited to get to know, love, and take care of your pets with this wonderful team!
