Trish (Owner)

IMG_6513I have been working with all types of animals professionally for over 13 years. I recently worked for an amazing dog walking company that inspired me to make my dreams come true and take on my own business.

From April- October 2017, I fulfilled a life-long dream and completed a thru-hike of the entire Appalachian Trail. During my 6 months of walking I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted out of this precious life. I knew two things without a doubt- I HAD to work with animals, and I wanted to work for myself. Nearly as soon as I came back to Minnesota, I was getting calls from friends asking if I could help out with pet sitting, training, and dog walking- and Two Paws Up was created.

My goal is to provide you with personalized pet services- I know that not every pet is the same and therefore needs its own specialized care! I want your pet to feel comfortable and have fun while you are away, and I will work with you to develop a customized plan to ensure all of your pets needs are met.

I had no idea how great the demand would be for personalized pet care and I quickly learned that I was going to need a team of like minded pet lovers to help me out. I developed training methods/modules and have hand-selected and trained each petsitter to ensure we are all able to meet the needs of the pets in our care.

I continously pursue pet education to increase my knowledge of pet training, disease, nutrition, and well- all things pets!

I currently have one fun-loving kitty named Cooper. My Soul-Dog Tucker crossed the rainbow bridge in September 2018 but still holds a very special place in my heart.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I grew up with all types of different animals and have always felt a deep connection with them. I’ve worked with animals, most of my life. From farms, a pet hospital, pet store and doggy daycare.
My Grandmother had what we called growing up, a “zoo”. I loved going over there!
She had parrots, dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, a tarantula and many other critters. I knew then when I was young, that animals were my calling.

My name is Logan, I have a 4 year old Rottweiler. I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals throughout my whole life, there is nothing that makes me smile more than seeing a dog or cat happy. I’ve always had my hand in some sort of animal care such as training, boarding, running a playgroup, dog walking and pet sitting. I always treat animals with the respect they deserve, they always look at us like we are heroes so I always try to show them that we are.

My first pet was a Chinchilla named Scooby-Doo, whom I got when I was three years old. Since then, I’ve had a variety of pets from dogs to cats, turtles, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, rats, ducks, chickens and so on. I have always had an affinity for any kind of animal and get along well with them all. This has made me a go to for pet sitting and dog walking for many of my friends and family. When I’m not playing or cuddling with my dog or my guinea pigs, I like to read, write, paint, and spend time with friends and family.

I’m super excited to get to know, love, and take care of your pets with this wonderful team!

My name is Ashley. I have been working with animals as a veterinary technician for 10 years. I have a 5 year old daughter who just started kindergarten, one 8 year old lab mix named Shadow, and 2 cats named baby (11 years old) and Bella (12 years old). I do foster a lot of dogs through the rescue second hand hounds as well.

In my years of working as a veterinary technician, I have always treated every pet that I work with as if they are my own. I feel so strongly about the human pet bond and how powerful it is. I am trained to handle difficult situations and to know when there may be something off or wrong with your pet.

I look forward to meeting new people and their fur babies and helping to take care of them.
